How To get grand total in XML/BI publisher

You can use following  function out of  for loop to get grand total
<?sum(//CF_AMT_CHILD[.!=''])?>

    just for more clarity, here CF_AMT_CHILD is the name of the field whose sum is to be calculated

    Did you get a solution to this? Iam trying to create a report with group total then another total then grand total for the entire report.
    How do I start?
    BI publisher 11g.
